Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Finance, Accounting, or related field or any relevant experience.
Responsibilities
· To prioritize, select and review the alerts generated by Transaction Monitoring System and acquire required information / documents as per SOPs.
· To review sanctions screening alerts on daily basis related to customer base screening.
· Assist efforts to improve internal processes related to AML
· Be involved in anti-money laundering (AML) and counter terrorist financing (CTF) projects (including processes and policy review, assessment or improvement)
· Constantly review and evaluate Bank’s AML policies and procedures and suggest any improvements.
· Execute a risk-based Compliance testing process to review and assess the effectiveness of AML policies, procedures, and controls
· Keep the team abreast with changes in the relevant laws, guidelines, and regulations for anti-money laundering.
· Investigate, measure, and report on the organization’s risk of suspicious or fraudulent financial activity.
· Develop and implement strategies to follow anti-money laundering laws.
· Report and make notes and records of any suspicious transactions or activities in an efficient and timely manner.
· Identify trends using digital techniques.
· Provide independent, expert advice and analysis to the business.
FATCA/CRS reporting –STR Reporting
· Take part in and lead anti-money laundering compliance training on identifying suspicious activity to other team members.
· Design and develop statistical analysis of AML processes and data points to support AML related projects and initiatives
· Constantly review and evaluate firm’s AML policies and procedures
Required Skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of anti-money laundering laws, regulations, and best practices
· Excellent attention to details
· Demonstrated ability to report and present findings
· Adept with using software to analyze and gather data
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal
· Good computer skills, including Excel and Outlook
· Highly organized and able to work under pressure to specific deadlines
