Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent and organized General Store Manager to handle the receipt, storage, and issuance of textile chemicals, machine spare parts, maintenance consumables, safety equipment, lubricants, and other industrial supplies. The role will ensure accurate inventory management, safe handling of materials, and timely supply to relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the general store including chemicals, spares, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of all materials.
- Maintain updated stock records in ERP/Inventory systems (preferably Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management) and issue items against proper documentation.
- Conduct periodic stock counts, reconciliations, and prepare MIS reports.
- Implement store safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance requirements.
- Supervise and train store staff for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Masters in Supply Chain / Business Administration.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in General/Industrial store management (Textile sector preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management module.
- Advanced skills in Oracle, Inventory Management, and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
