Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the merchandising team, ensuring effective coordination across all functions – product development, procurement, production, and logistics.
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain process, from development to delivery.
- Oversee order execution with a focus on timelines, quality standards, and customer guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers/buyers, maintaining strong, professional relationships and ensuring clear communication at all stages.
- Analyse sales forecasts and historical data with team and guide planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with design, QA, sourcing, and production teams to drive process efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Ensure adherence to compliance testing protocols and buyer requirements.
- Prepare and present performance reports, costings, order status, and risk analysis to reporting line.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Sciences & Supply Chain. (Preferably Textile)
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in home textile merchandising
Skills:
- Proficiency in processes of home textile supply chain.
- Strong background in product development, sourcing, production planning, and buyer communication.
- In-depth understanding of fabrics, materials, trims, packaging, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation, ERP systems, and merchandising tools.
