Job Opportunity: Network and Systems Administrator
LAMA is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain our company’s network infrastructure, implement cloud storage solutions, and enhance companywide access security. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of networking principles, cloud computing, and security protocols to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Design, configure, and maintain the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems or a segment of a network system.
2-Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
3-Implement and manage cloud storage solutions, ensuring efficient data storage, backup, and recovery processes.
4-Develop and implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. This includes managing implementing IT policies, firewall configurations, VPNs, and end user access.
5-Analyze and isolate issues. Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
6-Evaluate and modify system’s performance, identifying user needs, and recommending appropriate systems and IT infrastructure.
7-Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to facilitate the understanding of and training on new technologies and systems.
8-Stay updated with the latest technologies and security trends to ensure the company’s IT infrastructure is at the forefront of technological advancements.
Qualifications:
1-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2-Proven experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
3-Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure, cloud services (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure), and security protocols.
4-Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security.
5-Knowledge of system vulnerability management and network security best practices.
6-Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7-Strong communication and documentation skills.
