Job Opportunity: Manager Procurement Fabric
LAMA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager Procurement Fabric to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and contributing to our organization’s success.
Responsibilities:
1-Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
2-Identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier consolidation strategies.
3-Up to date with industry trends regarding new fabrics, related techniques and development of different fabrications / blends which are cost effective.
4-Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
5-Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
6-Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
7-Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
8-Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts and agreements.
9-Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
10-Implement inventory control measures to prevent overstocking or shortages.
11-Manage procurement budgets and control costs effectively.
12-Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
13-Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
14-Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
15-Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
16-Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
1-Master’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
2-Proven experience in fabric procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
3-Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5-Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
6-Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
7-Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary: 200k-250k
Location: Upper Mall, Lahore.
