What We’re Looking For:
- Qualification: BSc in Textile Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Experience: Min 10 years in a reputable textile/home textile unit with at least 5 years in a managerial or similar role; strong background in Made-Ups Quality Control (preferably in export setups)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee QC processes at raw material, in-line, and final inspection stages
- Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and quality standards
- Supervise and guide QC inspectors, ensuring smooth workflow
- Identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement CAPA
- Lead internal/external audits and monitor SOP implementation
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and merchandising teams to resolve issues
- Suggest improvements in testing tools, systems, and processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of QC tools, AQL systems, and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with home textile products and fabric behaviors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP-based quality systems
- Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
