We are Hiring Assistant Manager Compliance & Quality Assurance
Qualification: BS/MS TQM/Environmental Science or a related field.
Experience: Should have 3-4 years’ experience preferably in a reputed textile company.
Job Description:
- Capable of independently supervising and ensuring adherence to all pertinent certifications, such as Egyptian cotton, ISO 9001, 14001, OEKO-TEX 100, OEKO-TEX STEP, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, BCI, and BSCI.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are aligned with certification requirements and enhance system efficiency.
- Pro-actively manage and prepare for audits associated with the above certifications to maintain compliance and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems to streamline operations and maintain high compliance standards.
- Regularly review and update internal documents to ensure they reflect current certification standards requirements.
- Lead all audit-related activities, including initial audits, follow-up audits, and corrective action plan (CAP) reports.
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits to identify and mitigate risks of non-conformities, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal HSE & production teams to create a safer work environment by implementing safety-focused initiatives in line with certification and industry requirements.
- Ensure the timely issuance of transaction certificates for materials certified under GOTS, OCS, GRS RCS and BCI points transfer by ensuring compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate mass balances of all certifications, including certified yarn (e.g., Egyptian cotton) and fabric, ensuring the integrity of the supply chain.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve operational quality, audit outcomes, and certification compliance, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Required Skills:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification or any other Quality related certification.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases.
- Problem Analysis and Problem-Solving Techniques.
- Strong Communication Skills.
