Who are we looking for?
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance/economics/commerce from an HEC recognized/overseas institution.
. 3-5 years of experience in a financial environment. Exposure to Banking Operations, experience and knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, AML/CFT Act and best practices will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance of UNSC and Targeted Financial Sanctions Regime.
a. To ensure the quality assurance reviews of the compliance of Targeted Financial Sanction’s Regime, Sanction’s screening activity, freezing / de-freezing actions under UNSC Sanction Regime & Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, global watch lists and instructions received from other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) as per Bank’s own procedures.
b. To ensure the quality assurance reviews of daily NACTA reconciliation and to check for timely and accurate review of watch list management & FCM Alerts generated through BULK scanning on periodic basis.
c. To ensure the quality assurance reviews of the timely and accurate completion of data analysis regarding identification of Proscribed, Designated Persons / Entities.
d. To Ensure the quality assurance reviews of the periodic gap assessment (where required) exercise on FCM (sanction screening system) and implementation of related improvements regarding thresholds, addition of lists and work flows. - Transaction Monitoring & Alert Management
a. To ensure the quality assurance reviews in gap assessment exercise in quality alert generation over transaction monitoring rules and implementation of required controls.
b. To ensure the quality assurance of the closed alerts.
c. To ensure the quality assurance reviews of the proper review and approval of Transaction Monitoring Alerts escalated by AML Analyst for closure or possible reporting of STR. - Compliance of KYC/CDD Policy & Procedures
a. Quality Assurance Review of gap assessment exercise over KYC / AML Risk Profiling Model of the Bank and ensure necessary updations as per changing ML/TF/ PF risks.
b. Quality Assurance Review of the completion of periodic CDD reviews (based on threshold).
c. Review of Maintenance of records of rejected and closed accounts based on CDD / EDD for the management and regulatory.
