Position: Deputy General Manager Operational Monitoring
Job Purpose:
The role is significantly responsible for operational use of GIS system in conjunction with the Operational Technologies. The position primarily helps establish distribution asset management regime at KE by integrated GIS with ongoing alignment with enterprise-wide asset management processes, standards, and protocols and to manage the digitization of KE network assets providing end-users the tools in the form of digital maps and integrated processes – thereby facilitating KE’s core network operations.
Education & Relevant Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering Sciences (Electrical/Telecommunication) / MSc in Geography
✔ 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Knowledge:
✔ Project Management
✔ GIS and Arc-FM enterprise technologies
✔ Understanding of Distribution Operations, New Connection, Village Electrification, and SIP
✔ Understanding of SAP – ERP

The role is responsible for overseeing the execution of key commercial and technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The role requires proactive decision-making, risk mitigation, and strong cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence. Another key aspect of the role is ensuring project performance through data analysis, issue resolution, and process improvements, with regular reporting to the Head of Strategy/CDO.
Education & Relevant Experience:
