Job Description:
- Plan, procure, and implement comprehensive sourcing of raw material for timely and cost-effective availability to meet the production requirement of manufacturing plants
- Responsible for dealing with international and local suppliers for the import of raw materials
- Control inventory stock levels
- Evaluate price increase demand of various suppliers on the basis of component costing or competitive prices; carry out cost analysis on the basis of cost drivers, negotiate, prepare a proposal and obtain approval
- Carry out month-wise costing of raw and packing material for all SKUs to facilitate the preparation of Budgets
- Keep track of international price trends and technologies for major direct raw materials and commodities
Skills:
- Familiar with import procedures, customs clearances, custom tariffs and SROs
- Familiar with LC and bank documentation, EIF & Weboc
- Sound knowledge of SAP, international procurement laws and regulations
