Iqra University – Main EDC Campus is seeking qualified and passionate individuals for the position of Senior SEO & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Specialist.
🎓 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any relevant discipline.
- 3 – 5 years of proven experience in SEO, Local SEO, and Technical SEO.
- Proficient with SEO and analytics tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Moz, BrightLocal, LocalFalcon, and Looker Studio.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
🎓 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies for all university websites.
- Conduct keyword research for programs, admissions, and academic categories.
- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, crawl, and performance issues.
- Manage Local SEO, including Google Business Profiles, NAP consistency, and citations.
- Implement GEO-focused optimization for visibility on AI-driven search engines.
- Add structured data and schema markup to strengthen entity’s presence.
- Optimize and update content with SEO-driven improvements for pages and blogs.
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and GEO/SEO performance using analytics tools.
- Coordinate with IT and marketing teams to ensure SEO standards are applied.
- Develop and maintain ethical backlink-building strategies.
