International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) is looking for “𝗦𝗿. 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀” for its Office in Karachi.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Manage foreign vendor payables and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Post supplier invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and apply current exchange rates for all foreign currency transactions.
- Prepare and update Import Cost Sheets, ensuring accurate landing cost calculations.
- Monitor and account for realized/unrealized exchange gains or losses (EGOL).
- Maintain updated rebate schedules and ensure timely follow-up on claims.
- Track and reconcile container deposit payments and recoveries.
- Maintain and review the Purchase Register, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, especially in import finance or foreign payables.
- Familiarity with exchange rate mechanics and accounting for currency fluctuations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation-heavy processes.
