Job Overview:
Highpoint Ventures, a fashion retail leader, is seeking a skilled Security and Government Relations Specialist. Ideally suited for an ex-military professional, this role involves overseeing comprehensive security functions and maintaining positive relationships with government bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Oversight:
- Develop and implement robust security protocols for personal safety, asset protection, and premises security.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and address potential security risks.
- Utilize advanced surveillance techniques to monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Enforce access control policies and procedures.
Government Relations: - Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with local government bodies, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
- Act as a liaison between Highpoint Ventures and government entities, – ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for government officials in security-related matters.
Emergency Response and Customer Service: - Coordinate emergency responses and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Provide exceptional customer service for employees, visitors, and guests.
Requirements:
- Ex-military background with a proven track record in security functions.
- Preferably a retired Major
- Strong understanding of government relations and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
