Position: Mechanical Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot confectionery and packaging machinery, including but not limited to Pillow wrap machine, cooling tunnel, Candy forming, depositing and processing machines.
- Perform prevention and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs.
- Ensure machines operate according to safety, hygiene, and food-grade standards.
- Assist during installation, commissioning and trial runs of new equipment.
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts records.
- Coordinate with production and electrical teams for efficient problem resolution.
- Follow SOP’s, GMP, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
Eligibility Criteria:
- DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the confectionery or food manufacturing industry.
