Hascol Petroleum Limited is looking for a Manager Taxation based at Head Office, Karachi.
This position is responsible for direct & indirect taxation of the company to the tax authorities.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise monthly e-filing of sales tax return to FBR, SBR, PRA
- Review monthly sales tax input & output of the sales tax returns
- Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
- Sales tax of the company
- Advise staff regarding the handling of sales tax reporting
- Supervise monthly e-filing of withholding income tax
- Prepare quarterly advance tax statement of the company
- Prepare & filed annual Income tax return of the company
- Advise senior management on tax matters & potential impact of current & future tax laws
- Manage ongoing relationship with tax consultants & tax authorities
- Review all documents and submit to the tax authorities
EXPERIENCE
- 10–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Candidate should be well versed with rules, regulations and processes governing litigation with revenue authorities.
- Candidate should be well versed with core financial accounting and be able to extract information from legacy records.
