Hascol Pakistan Jobs Chief Chemist:Â We are looking for a Chief Chemist for our Lubricants Oil Blending Plant at Port Qasim.
Qualification and Experience: B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry or Applied Chemistry / Organic Chemistry with minimum 7 years of hands on experience in a QC laboratory and good knowledge of lube, greases, etc
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test lube oil and grease samples and ensure that products meet all specified parameters.
- Carry out formulation optimizations and pilot blend developments as per the production and technical requirements.
- Oversee proper handling & up-keep of laboratory equipment, instruments and accessories and carry out calibrations as specified in calibration schedule.
- Perform periodic stock counting of laboratory chemicals and ensure testing activities are not delayed due to unavailability of chemicals, raw materials, etc.
- Timely and organized upkeep of testing and QC records & data.
- Ensure quality checks, testing, validation and cross verification on products at all stages of process as per defined guidelines, procedures and work instructions.
