Job Description:
Develop, implement, and manage the production schedule to align with customer delivery commitments while ensuring that production goals are met.
Collaborate with the Factory Manager to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the production process and recommend process improvements.
Oversee manpower planning and resource allocation to ensure adequate staffing levels and equipment availability to achieve production targets.
Lead all production activities while enforcing a strict adherence to workplace safety protocols and operational efficiencies.
Monitor the manufacturing capacity, including manpower and machinery, prioritizing resources effectively to meet production output expectations.
Achieve key production performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, proactively addressing any shortfalls in production.
Design and execute skills development programs to enhance workforce capabilities, aiming to maximize employee performance and satisfaction.
Supervise essential manufacturing processes such as moulding, fusing, assembly, and bending to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
Regularly inspect workstations and production lines to ensure disciplined workflow and high-quality output.
Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across all production functions, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
Manage raw material inventory responsibly, ensuring accuracy in SAP/WMS records and overall inventory management.
Conduct end-of-day Operational Excellence Communication (OEC) meetings to review production status, address challenges, and ensure alignment with production goals.
Act as the Key User for the SAP/WMS systems within the Production Planning (PP) module, providing necessary training and support to team members.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards through diligent quality management and operational practices.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the immediate manager to support overall production goals and team success.
