Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to find technical solutions, create standard work procedure, perform cost estimations and negotiations with suppliers.
- Experience on troubleshooting, analysis of Electrical & instrument systems especially in power generation & Hybrid Grids.
- Implement reliable solutions and RCA recommendations of complex issues to ensure plant sustainability.
- Execute preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance activities of plant equipment as per OEM guidelines.
- Manage STGs boilers auxiliaries, MV/LV motors and drives, fire alarm system and emergency backup systems of power plant.
- Perform area audits & rectify for safety and other installations improvement Plans.
Technical Competencies:
- Work experience in Power generation, 132/ 220 KV Hybrid Grid, HV/MV/LV voltage systems, Transformers/Switchgears/PLCs,UPS/DC systems, VFDs.
- Grid expertise especially related to 132KV GIS grid and 13.8KV/6.6KV, substation relays preferably Alstom Agile series and ABB REF series, Gantry, GIS and AIS substation, ABB and Schneider Electric MV/LV/DC/Battery/Battery Chargers/UPS.
- Steam turbine generators and motors management system GE Multilin G60/G30 UR Platform, generator control Basler Electric AVR DECS250 and ABB/Hyundai variable frequency drives.
Job Specification (Qualification/Experience):
Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (additional certifications are a plus point)
Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience at reputable power plant, oil & gas, and fertiliser plants.
Work experience with regulatory bodies like NEPRA, Utility company like NTDC, KE will be a plus. SAP ECC experience especially PM and MM Modules.
