Are you an experienced software engineer looking for an exciting challenge? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. At FiveRivers Technologies we are pioneers in the technology industry, driving innovation and shaping the future. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge software solutions that will revolutionize our industry.
What we expect from you:
- You are a software enthusiast and have experience with building Microservices-based apps
- Participate in a full life-cycle of the product (including problem discovery, prototyping, design, implementation, and measuring adoption)
- Design and development services with NodeJS / Python (Express, Flask) on top of AWS infrastructure
- Design and connect to our persistence layer (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3) 5. Build developer-friendly RESTful APIs
- We believe the unit/integration testing is far better than the manual validation. You must have a passion to write unit tests for whatever you build.
What you should have:
- 8+ years’ experience in developing web-apps
- Experience in developing backend services using NodeJS and Python
- Experience in developing front-end web apps using REACT
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience in designing efficient persistence layers (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3)
- Working with databases (both SQL and NoSQL, their pros and cons)
- Good understanding of test automation techniques
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures for the suitable problems
- Hands-on experience in logging, log analysis, and monitoring techniques
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS/GCP/Azure
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Pipelines and JIRA
- Good Analytical and communication skills (written and spoken English) 15. Good research skills will be required
Good to have:
- Experience with Web3 integrations
- Understanding of Web and Mobile platforms
