Job Title: Database Engineer
Location: Lahore,PK
Department Description: This role exists to manage the DBA services for the fertilizer businesses at all locations with the objective of ensuring efficient services across the board, with the scope of IT policies and protocols, business objectives and direction from Management.
Brief Description: Database Administration; Effectively manage the daily backups; Ensure that services are up and running; Apply patching to resolve the different issues of R-12; Undertake cloning review; Routine and scheduled review of the Database storage; Monitor end users sessions; Rectify run time errors and resolve related issues; Service Operations and Application Administration; Execute the operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC); Interaction with (Oracle Corporation) NOC/DC and other IT internal functions; Undertake systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery; Implementation of disaster recovery protocol; Undertake daily back-up activity; Support to Business Applications department; Monitor hardware and memory up-grades
Detailed Description: Core DBA expertise required; Ability to handle pressure; Team player; Customer Service; Flexible; Oracle Certified Professional in Oracle database; Good Command on LINUX Operating System; Effective communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Problem solving, Trouble shooting and Decision making
Job Requirements: BCS or MCS 5 to 7 years of experience Specialized in Database Track
