Position: Manager Business Development (Civil)

Location: Head Office
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferably with an MBA degree.
Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Business Development in a major Construction Company, out of which a minimum 5 years must be at Business Manager or equivalent level. Proven track record of securing large scale projects for his Company.
Job Description:
- Understanding and quantifying Company business objectives and striving towards their achievement.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector to drive company growth.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
- Prospecting, generating inquiries and getting clarifications from clients as required.
- Review technical and commercial proposals, tenders, submit to clients in coordination with the relevant internal teams.
- Lead negotiations, address client concerns, evaluate contracts and close profitable business deals in alignment with company objectives.
- Acting as a bridge between the client and the Company, coordinate and collaborate with project team and other stakeholders.
- Excellent technical knowledge and capability to convert submitted bids into business.
- Strong market knowledge, excellent client contacts at decision-making level, and sound decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation and team building skills.
