Lab Technologist / Technician
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, SUKKUR CAMPUS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs Clinical/Biochemical tests independently under minimum supervision, according to the departmental procedure manual daily to ensure timely preparation of final reports.
- Assists the senior/charge technologist in teaching/training of junior staff, students, and trainees according to guidelines provided, as and when required.
- Follows and assists the senior/charge technologist in the implementation of safety standards according to Laboratory Safety Manual daily, for own safety and the safety of others.
- Assures that appropriate Controls (negative & positive) are run with each test/batch or as per requirements according to Lab Policy.
- Conducting any other assignments as directed by the Line Manager / Group Head Laboratory.
- Checks the suitability of specimens and verifies/confirms receiving of samples in the department through computer or manually daily according to laboratory protocols.
- Inoculates and processes samples without delay as per sample requirements daily according to sample processing bench laboratory policy.
- Enters patient’s data and tests into the computer or manually daily according to laboratory protocols.
REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Qualification: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Diploma in Medical Technologist
Experience: 1 to 4 Years of Clinical Laboratory Experience
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Clinical and biochemical testing procedures.
- Laboratory safety standards and protocols.
- Quality assurance practices, including positive and negative controls.
- Attention to detail for precise testing and reporting.
- Problem-solving to address technical challenges.
- Time management to meet deadlines.

ICU Staff
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, SUKKUR CAMPUS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observe and record patients’ vital signs, maintain detailed patient records, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with administering medications, operating ventilators, and providing life support as needed.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ICU equipment, such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices.
- Provide immediate care during emergencies and assist in resuscitation and other critical procedures.
- Help with patient hygiene, repositioning, and mobilization to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Qualification: BSN or Diploma or certification relevant to the specific ICU position (e.g., Nursing, ICU Technician).
Experience: 1-5 years of experience in critical care or an ICU environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and equipment.
- Strong clinical and technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
