Manager Operation Theatre LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, KEAMARI CAMPUS.
JOB SUMMARY: He / She will administer, direct & coordinate activities of patient care administration within surgical services unit & is responsible for the recommendation, development & implementation of policies & procedures in OT. He is also responsible for keeping Medical Superintendent informed of both progress & potential problems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a clinical resource person & assessing patient.
- Schedules OT technicians to ensure adequate staffing for each case
- Ensures that all surgeons & anesthetists’ orders are executed in accordance with established policies & procedures
- Supervise & train the other staff including staff nurses, nursing aides, OT technicians & CSSD technicians.
- OT Manager responsible for preparing Departmental budget & exploring cost effective measures.
- Reinforces OT standards prescribed in the procedures & manuals of the surgical ward / hospital & policies that are in place.
- Participates in internal & external audits of the department & hospital
- Collaborate with ancillary support services to provide a safe, clean & secure environment for patients, staff & visitors
- To monitor infection, control related activities such as fumigation, environmental sampling, equipment sterilization & validation tests for the effectiveness of sterilization

REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Graduate / BS in OT / MS
- Professional Qualification: Relevant Operation Theatre courses or certifications
- Work Experience: 8 to 10 Years of Relevant Experience
