HEAD OF PLANNING, DESIGNING IMPLEMENTATION
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.
JOB SUMMARY: To lead and manage all civil, architectural, and construction planning activities related to infrastructure development, expansion, renovation, and maintenance projects. The role involves strategic planning, innovative design supervision, project execution, vendor coordination, and ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of all infrastructure-related initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of all infrastructure and architectural projects.
- Oversee the design development, space planning, structural assessments, and layout finalization.
- Manage project lifecycle from concept to commissioning including feasibility studies, cost estimates, budgeting, timelines, and quality control.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, consultants, and contractors for efficient and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure all designs and constructions meet hospital standards, health & safety codes, building regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Review architectural drawings, civil layouts, and construction schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Manage internal team performance and external vendors to maintain design integrity and project timelines.
- Maintain updated records of blueprints, approvals, contracts, and progress reports.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- Strong understanding of architectural design, structural engineering, and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera, or other project planning tools.
- Knowledge of hospital infrastructure, MEP coordination, and civil work sequencing.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance.
- Budgeting and Cost Control.
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture from a recognized university field.
- Professional Qualification: Relevant project management certification is preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience in design, planning, and civil construction & At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a hospital, healthcare, or large infrastructure project.
