Job Summary:
As a Cardiac Porter at Dr. Ziauddin Group of Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of patients, equipment, and supplies within the cardiac department. Your primary duties will involve safely moving patients to and from the cardiac unit, assisting with the preparation of patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from the cardiac unit, operating rooms, and other departments.
Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for cardiac procedures.
Ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies to the cardiac unit.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cardiac department, including equipment and patient areas.
Provide support to the nursing and clinical staff as needed.
Assist with the movement and setup of specialized cardiac equipment.

Qualifications:

Job Summary:
As a Chief Perfusionist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the perfusion services within the cardiac surgery department. Your primary duties will involve managing the perfusion team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, maintaining perfusion equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes during cardiac surgeries. Additionally, you will play a key role in training, education, and research in the field of perfusion.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the perfusion team, including supervision, training, and evaluation of staff.
Operate heart-lung machines and related equipment during cardiac surgeries, ensuring safe and effective delivery of perfusion services.
Develop and implement protocols and procedures for perfusion services.
Schedule and coordinate perfusion coverage for all cardiac surgeries.
Monitor and adjust patient physiological parameters during surgery.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Manage the perfusion department budget and resources.
Provide training and continuing education for perfusion staff/students of perfusion sciences.
Collaborate with academic institutions for perfusion education programs.
Conduct and publish research in the field of perfusion.
Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor and analyze perfusion outcomes and performance metrics.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of perfusion services.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of perfusion equipment.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Perfusion Technology or a related field. & Preference will be given to Master’s Degree holders.
Certification: Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical perfusion experience, including supervisory or management roles.
