Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement preventive maintenance schedules for buses and workshop equipment.
- Supervise routine activities including tire rotation, charging, washing, and inspections.
- Allocate tasks efficiently and ensure proper handling of workshop materials.
- Manage workshop staff attendance, shift rosters, tool inventory, and duty schedules.
- Track spare part consumption and coordinate with Supply Chain Management/local vendors to reduce fleet downtime.
- Handle petty cash, prepare requisitions, and ensure timely replenishment of funds.
- Maintain organized records of manpower and workshop inquiries.
- Prepare reports for HR and management, including workshop incident/inquiry reports.
- Manage fleet insurance matters, including cost estimation, report compilation, and coordination with insurance surveyors and head office.
Requirements
- Education: BE/B Tech Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics
- Experience: 6-8 Years, working with auto workshop preferably buses.
