Position: Finance Analyst – Profit & Loss
Partnering with Manager Accounts & Finance Executive, this position carries out all accounts related activities related to support functions in efficient and effective manner, to ensure complete, accurate & reliable data recording and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
Financial Accounting and Preparation of Books of Accounts
- Ensure complete booking of all financial transaction for monthly closing of financials
- Provides reasoning and analysis to support Monthly Business Performance Evaluation and Analysis
- Responsible for timely booking of bank entries and reconciliation of the same
- Ensure proper provisioning of MOH, Opex and DME etc. and maintain reconciliation analysis of accruals and provisions
- Keep track of the closing checklist to ensure that all tasks have been complete to report financial results
- Prepare monthly detail of all accruals & provisions to ensure that all provisions and accrual are backed up with proper invoices, agreement & RFA etc
- Analysis of Non-Operating expense/income and suggest/post if any adjustment required
- Ensure all submissions to Internal & external customers are submit on time after getting them reviewed by supervisor
- Verification of interest expense for banks in overdraft; preparation and booking of interest accrual
- Liaising with FSC CO and GA teams for query handling and analysis
- Monitoring and reporting of Open POs in system – raising flag for POs not required or those with delayed GRNs
Internal & External Audits
- Provide Support in Internal & External Audits
- Ensure that all the data provided to the auditors must be backed up with proper supporting & documentation
- Regular follow up of audit observation and ensure compliance for the same
Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Import settlements
- Prepares the monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Process, including Bank Reconciliation and ensure all items have proper supporting behind.
- Follow up with Supply Chain to get import documents for proper & Timely booking of all import Accounting entries (LC)
Others
- Prepare different analysis of OPEX , DME and other accounting data as required by Management
- Highlight key areas of improvements and take actions to implement the same
