BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is seeking a qualified candidate to join their dynamic team as an Accountant in Islamabad Experience Center.
Qualifications: ACCA (part or fully qualified) or CA part-qualified.
Experience: 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
Location: Islamabad
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledger accounts. They must be proficient in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, processing supplier and customer invoices, and performing timely bank reconciliations. A sound understanding of accounting principles and the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies is essential.
The candidate should also be capable of assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and contributing to tax compliance efforts such as preparing VAT returns and other regulatory filings. Familiarity with accounting software is required, along with strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
Additionally, the role involves supporting internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and aiding in the implementation of audit recommendations. The ideal applicant should also demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and stay updated on evolving accounting standards and best practices.
