𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 is looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the position of 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 – 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
o Lead the end-to-end sourcing and merchandising cycle for the apparel category.
o Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost-efficiency, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
o Build and manage relationships with local vendors/suppliers.
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer behavior to forecast demand and make data-driven decisions.
o Manage product development from concept to delivery in coordination with design, planning and production teams.
o Plan and execute seasonal buying calendars in alignment with brand goals.
o Ensure timely product availability through effective vendor coordination and supply chain alignment.
o Lead and mentor a team of sourcing and merchandising professionals, ensuring their performance and growth.
o Maintain quality standards and oversee supplier audits and compliance as per company policy.
o Collaborate with marketing, designing, retail operations and planning teams to ensure successful product launch and sell-through.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Apparel Merchandising, Supply Chain, Textile Engineering or a related field.
o 8–10 years of experience in the apparel industry with exposure to multiple well-known apparel brands.
o Minimum 8 years in a managerial or leadership role.
o Strong analytical, negotiations and vendor management skills.
o Excellent communication, team leadership and decision-making abilities.
o Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is preferred.
