Job Description:
- Oversee and work in the trade finance team, controlling the issuance of LCs, bank guarantees, settling bills, and other trade finance instruments on time to avoid delays and costs.
- Managing Fund inflow and outflow whilst minimizing risk and overseeing the treasury department, planning settlements in advance with banks and suppliers by optimizing utilization of bank limits.
- Liaising with trade and shipping covering the front, middle, and back office to provide support related to finance to ensure smooth execution of deals.
- Liaising with banks to provide documentation and clarifications required to ensure compliance with their requirements and continuity of credit lines.
- Liaising with banks for Mark to Market clarifications and managing margin calls
- Reviewing contracts and deal recap to ensure that payment terms from clients and suppliers are within the framework of available facilities and credit policies of the company
- Execute the projects related to trade finance operations, and ensure their timely completion, achievement of objectives, and cost efficiencies.
- Execute transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times for all trade finance activities and service level agreements with business units.
- To follow internal financial policies and procedures to ensure that the financial requirements of the company are met.
