Amreli Steels Limited is seeking talented professionals for the following shift based position:
Position: Assistant Engineer- Production (Rolling Mill)
Job Requirements:
Qualification: BE Degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Manufacturing
Experience: 1 to 2 years relevant experience of ensuring the production operations of rolling mill.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute production plans effectively according to standard operating procedures, lean manufacturing principles and ensure compliance.
- Identify and suggest ways to improve the procedures to improve productions, quality and safety.
- Ensure smooth operations of the rolling mill (WHF, rolling mill and handling area)
- Execute Daily tasks delegated by Immediate Supervisor as per available SOPs
- Supervision and assigning tasks to workers on daily basis
- Troubleshooting activities related to production/ maintenance
- Reporting of all activities in log book
- Assist Immediate supervisor for generation of reports and data entry related to production/ maintenance
- Ensure quality of product
- Ensure proper housekeeping
- Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulation
