We’re a growing garments manufacturing company looking for a Production Unit Manager to manage our Production Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production unit, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Manage and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and implement cost-effective solutions.
Monitor and analyse production metrics, including costs, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Control production costs by implementing efficient resource utilization and waste reduction strategies.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain a seamless and cost-effective supply chain.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to drive innovation in the production unit.
Solid understanding of production processes, supply chain management, quality control, and cost control.
Proven track record of meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and driving process improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in managing a production unit, with a focus on knit garments and experience with woven lines.
Minimum education: Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
