With a strong legacy and vision for the future, we are expanding our finance function and looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 to join our team at Head Office, Karachi.
𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:-
As Payable Lead, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely disbursement of company liabilities.
- Accurate recording of vendor invoices and debit notes
- Timely monthly provision for expenses
- Maintain and update Fixed Asset Register and ROUA Assets
- Monthly capitalization, disposals and depreciation runs
- Prepare monthly fixed assets schedule and ensure asset insurance coverage
- Supervise and develop a team of 5 subordinates
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and utilities to avoid penalties
- Monitor GR/IR position daily and reconcile invoices accordingly
- Perform vendor balance knocking and maintain updated vendor ledgers
- Coordinate payment publishing with CFO and ensure bank statement reconciliation
- Record LC transactions, rental payments, and petty cash disbursements
- Coordinate with departments to ensure liabilities and payments are recorded accurately
- Strong follow-up for dispute resolution and payment discrepancies
- Prepare and circulate daily payment summaries and vendor aging reports
- Manage insurance claims and ensure assets are adequately insured
- Handle any other tasks assigned by management
𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:-
- ACCA/CA-Inter/MBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Articleship completed students are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of SAP or similar ERP system
- Meticulous attention to detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong communication and interdepartmental coordination skills
- Proven leadership abilities and team management experience
