We are seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our web and mobile applications by conducting security assessments, collaborating with developers, and ensuring
the highest level of data protection and privacy.💻
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough security assessments of web and mobile applications, identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Collaborate closely with developers to conduct early-stage code reviews, promptly identifying and addressing security issues.
- Plan and execute penetration tests to evaluate the security posture of our applications and infrastructure.
- Assist in the design of secure application architectures, ensuring data protection and privacy by design.
- Develop threat models to analyze potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices throughout the organization.
- Participate actively in incident response activities, conducting investigations and responding to security incidents as necessary.
- Evaluate and implement security tools and automation solutions to enhance security operations.
- Possess the ability to bridge the gap between technical risks and their business impact, communicating effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A beginner-level certification such as CompTIA Security+, Pentest+, eJPT, or eWPT is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in Cyber Security and Cyber Attacks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud integration and cloud technologies is a plus.
