SkyElectric Pvt Ltd Jobs Senior Security Engineer:
SkyElectric is looking for a Sr.Security Engineer passionate about building secure software products.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert on application security domains involving web, mobile, Cloud and IoT platform
Experience in building, scaling and improving the Secure Development Lifecycle into product design and engineering efforts
Automate tasks with APIs or other coding languages
Conducting application security reviews and creating threat models for a complex set of technologies
Implementing “Defense in Depth” & “Zero Trust” strategies across the organization
Ability to write security policies for security products
Architect, design, assess, and address Data Protection PKI/Certificate Authority strategies
Requirements:
Strong abilities with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash)
Experience with application programming languages and frameworks (Java, C/C++, Elixir)
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure Standards, FIPS-140-2/3, NIST Cryptography standards and frameworks
5+ years experience in application security engineering
BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., cybersecurity), or equivalent technical experience
Experience in architecting and building application security on modern tech stacks across multiple platforms (web, mobile)
Experience with web, cloud, and microservices architectures
Experience identifying and protecting against security vulnerabilities, including those found in the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
Strong understanding of Virtualizations and HyperVisors
Understanding of secure development basics such as the least privilege, attack surfaces, and coding practices (OWASP, threat modeling, etc)
Experience with threat modelling and handling vulnerability reports
Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a results-based team environment
Strong analytical skills combined with good communication skills and fluent English
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-enterprise team
Ability to coach and mentor other engineers on product security

Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
Strong understanding of buildroot and embedded systems
Understanding of:
Certificate Lifecycle Management, OCSP, Automated Enrollment & Renewals
Symmetric/Asymmetric Encryption & Digital Signatures
Enterprise Key Management systems, integrations, and code signing
