ICI Pakistan Limited is hiring a Manager Accounts for its Corporate function, based in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reviewing and authorising local payments to suppliers, vendors, contractors, customers, foreign currency remittances, utilities and government dues, dividend payments, staff claims and reimbursements.
· Reviewing and authorising staff claims and reimbursements pertaining to travelling, medical, incentives, field staff salary, petty cash, advances and other miscellaneous payments in accordance with Company rules and remits.
· Reviewing and authorising Customs/Shipping Department Pay Orders and PSIDs, while ensuring their timely arrangement for imported consignments in coordination with businesses and shipping departments.
· Ensuring post-review, accurate and timely submission of monthly Sales Tax Return of ICI Pakistan Limited, including PowerGen, as per the requirement of the FBR (by 10th-15th of every month).
· Reviewing the Income Tax Statements and Income Tax Submission within defined timelines.
· Managing bank reconciliations for all business accounts operated by Shared Services within specified deadline (10th of each month).
· Managing relationships and holding meetings to ensure smooth operation. Liaising with businesses, internal tax department, banks, SBP and tax authorities on a day-to-day basis to effectively coordinate, streamline, support and solve problems pertaining to vendor payments and their expedition, tax impact, tax submissions, register agreements with SBP and approvals for remittances, etc.
· Coordinating with the team to bring economy, efficiency and effectiveness in routine work by updating policies and procedures in areas as cut-offs on amounts and time, batch processing, increase cash vouchers or petty cash at business locations, along with payments treated as ‘urgent’ and ways of minimising manual cheques, automation. etc.
· Establishing, monitoring and maintaining systems, procedures and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines and rules of the department.

· Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a team while getting the job done efficiently.
· Strong interpersonal skills with various stakeholders, with aims to manage and maintain relationships.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good planning and organisational skills.
· Good presentation skills.
· Familiarity with tax rules and implications.
· SAP
· MS Office
