ICI Pakistan Limited is hiring a Workshop Officer for its Soda Ash business based at its manufacturing facility in Khewra, Jhelum.
Key Responsibilities:
· The Workshop Officer is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the rotary workshop and machine shop.
· Sound and thorough knowledge regarding safety measures and related industrial laws.
· Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and practices related to rotary workshop and machine shop.
· Experience in handling rigging and scaffolding activities.
· Expert in reading and interpretation of machinery and equipment drawings.
· Planning and monitoring work within the workshop.
· Able to assist the Workshop Manager in preparation of annual CAPEX and OPEX.
Other Skills:
· Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
· Candidates with experience of working on SAP will be preferred.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· People management skills; good IR skills and man-management capabilities to handle staff working under their supervision.
