HVAC Technician
Experience: 3-5 years
Qualification: Diploma Holder
JDs:
- Learn locations of HVAC equipment and how they relate to each building.
- Maintain & repair all HVAC equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot & repair HVAC equipment.
- Maintain all related recommendations, i.e. valves, motors, belts, bearing, & lubrication etc.
- Basics of equipment management controls,to start, stop, seek status or change conditions on HVAC systems.
- Must know to prepare Chillers & Cooling Towers & their inspection, including any refractory work, cleaning and installing new seals.
- Run Cooling Towers and Chiller plants to maintain system temperatures
- Train other HVAC Technicians in preventative maintenance & repair
- Monitor energy consumption.
- Works with outside vendors, engineers on personal basis.
- Day-to-day operations of the HVAC
Skills
- Knowledge of cooling towers &chiller systems.
- Balancing air & water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Written, verbal & interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
