Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Islamabad Club seeks a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the Club’s overall management, uphold its heritage and prestige, and deliver an exceptional experience to its members while ensuring sound governance and long-term financial sustainability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the Club’s long-term vision by formulating, executing and delivering the strategic plan, business plan and annual budgets approved by the Board, with measurable results.
- Executive Command: Lead, direct and hold accountable the senior management team (CFO, COO) through clear performance targets and rigorous reviews, while safeguarding the full independence of the internal audit function led by the Head of Internal Audit.
- Service Excellence: Set and enforce uncompromising standards of member service across dining, rooms, sports, golf and events, making the Club the benchmark for premier members’ clubs in the country.
- Revenue Growth and Financial Sustainability: Aggressively grow revenues across membership, F&B, rooms, banquets and sports; optimise costs; and ensure the Club remains fully financially self-sustaining.
- Governance and Compliance: Uphold the Club’s constitution, bye-laws and rules without exception, and embed sound governance, internal controls and regulatory compliance at every level.
- Ambassador of the Club: Serve as the Club’s principal representative before members, government bodies, affiliated clubs, the diplomatic community and the media, protecting and enhancing its reputation and prestige.
- Development and Infrastructure: Spearhead major development projects and the renovation and modernisation of Club facilities, delivering them on time, within budget and within delegated authority.
- Culture, Talent and Accountability: Build a high-performance, member-first service culture; develop leadership depth through structured succession planning; and report regularly and transparently to the Board on performance, risks and opportunities.
EDUCATION
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business Administration, CA/CFA, Masters in Hospitality Management or Management or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 7 years as CEO or C-level position in a multi-company or multi-unit organisation.
- Demonstrated record of full P&L ownership with proven results in revenue growth, cost control and operational turnaround.
- Experience leading a premier members’ club, recreational project, or large hospitality/sports organisation will be strongly preferred.
TERMS OF CONTRACT
- Appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 3 years.
- The contract may be extended for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
- The position is purely contractual and not regularizable; the appointee shall have no claim to regularization or permanent employment.

Islamabad Club seeks a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to direct the Club’s day-to-day operations across its dining, accommodation, sports, golf and event facilities, delivering world-class service to members and their guests.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of all Club outlets, including restaurants, banquets, guest rooms, sports complex, golf course and recreational facilities.
- Translate the approved strategy into operational plans, KPIs and measurable service standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, housekeeping and member / guest satisfaction.
- Plan and manage Club events, functions, sports tournaments and member activities.
- Optimize processes, inventory and resource utilization while controlling operating costs.
- Ensure health, safety, food safety, environmental and regulatory compliance in all operations.
- Oversee maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment, and plan operational upgrades and improvements.
- Lead, coach and develop department heads and operational staff; monitor performance and report regularly to the CEO.
EDUCATION
- Master’s degree in Hospitality / Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 15 years of hospitality operations experience, of which at least 5 years in a senior role (COO, Resident / General Manager, Director Operations or equivalent).
- Proven record of managing F&B, rooms and recreational operations in a five-star hotel, premier club or resort.

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Islamabad Club seeks a qualified and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the Club’s finance function, safeguard its financial integrity, and provide the insight that supports sound decisions and the Club’s long-term financial sustainability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the overall financial strategy of the Club.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and laws.
- Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables and recovery of outstanding dues.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds and banking relationships.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls over F&B, rooms, stores, sports and event revenues; liaise with the external auditors and the Head of Internal Audit.
- Ensure full tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and all statutory filings.
- Provide financial analysis and MIS reports to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board, including departmental profitability and costing.
- Lead, develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
EDUCATION
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA as mandatory qualification.
- MBA (Finance), in addition to the above, from an HEC-recognized university shall be considered as additional advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience, of which at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
- Experience in hospitality, a members’ club or a not-for-profit organization will be preferred.
- Working experience with ERP / hospitality accounting systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera or similar).

Position: Head of Internal Audit

Contract: 3 Years (extendable for 2 years) Reports to: Finance & Audit Committee | Location: Islamabad
Islamabad Club seeks a qualified and independent Head of Internal Audit to lead the Club’s internal audit function and provide the Board with objective assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan approved by the Finance & Audit Committee.
- Conduct financial, operational, compliance and IT audits across all Club departments, including F&B, rooms, stores, sports, golf and events.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, SOPs and delegation of financial powers.
- Review procurement, vendor contracts, payroll and membership receivables for compliance and value for money.
- Conduct surprise inspections, stock takes and cash counts; investigate irregularities and suspected fraud.
- Monitor compliance with the Club’s constitution, bye-laws, policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Report findings to the Finance & Audit Committee and track implementation of management action plans.
- Coordinate with external auditors and lead the Internal Audit team in line with IIA Standards.
EDUCATION
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA as mandatory qualification.
- MBA (Finance), in addition to the above, from an HEC-recognized university shall be considered as additional advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk or assurance, of which at least 5 years as Head of Internal Audit / Chief Internal Auditor or equivalent.
- Audit experience in hospitality, a members’ club or not-for-profit organization and with ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera) preferred.
