Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals holding a domicile of Punjab for appointment to the following posts on Contract basis. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the online application portal available on the Thal University Bhakkar (TUB) website at www.tu.edu.pk.
STATUTORY POSITIONS
1. Name of Position with (BS): Registrar (BS-20)
- ·        No. & Nature of Post: 01 — Contract (03-Years)
- Age Limit (years): 40-50
- Minimum Qualification & Experience for appointment:
- (i) Ph.D. in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Eight years post qualification Teaching or Administrative or Professional experience in a public or private institute or University recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.
- OR
- o   (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Ten Years post qualification Teaching or Administrative or Professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.
- OR
- o   (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Twelve Years post qualification Teaching or Administrative or Professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.
2. Name of Position with (BS): Treasurer (BS-20)
- ·        No. & Nature of Post: 01 — Contract (03-Years)
- Age Limit (years): 40-50
- Minimum Qualification & Experience for appointment:
- (i) Ph.D. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Eight years post qualification relevant experience.
- OR
- o   (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Ten years post qualification relevant experience.
- OR
- o   (i) MBA in Finance or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. in Economics (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Twelve years post qualification relevant experience.
3. Name of Position with (BS): Controller of Examinations (BS-20)
- ·        No. & Nature of Post: 01 — Contract (03-Years)
- Age Limit (years): 40-50
- Minimum Qualification & Experience for appointment:
- (i) Ph.D. in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Eight years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Public Sector Organization.
- OR
- o   (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Ten years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Public Sector Organization.
- OR
- o   (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- (ii) Twelve years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by the Higher Education Commission or Public Sector Organization.
MANDATORY INSTRUCTIONS:
(1). Candidates are advised to first apply online through the university portal (www.tu.edu.pk), before submitting hard copies of their applications.
(2). Applicants are advised to read all terms and conditions / instructions of the advertisement as well as “important instructions to candidates” given on university website at online job portal i.e. “www.tu.edu.pk” carefully in order to submit their online & hard form of applications be complete in all respects. The responsibility of correctness of the data given in the online application form will rest squarely on the candidate.
(3). Editing option, to correct any data in the online application form, will be available to the candidates till the closing date of submission of online applications.
(4). Applicants are required to submit two hard copies of their dossier.
(5). Those already in the government / semi-government service or autonomous bodies will be required to bring original “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from their employer, at the time of interview.
(6). Higher qualification & relevant experience will be preferred as per recruitment policy.
(7). Only eligible / shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview.
(8). Upload a paid system generated bank challan of Rs. 5000/- for all above posts as processing fee (non-refundable) drawn in favor of Treasurer, Thal University Bhakkar for each online application.
(9). Application forms received without fee deposit receipt shall be not entertained.
(10). No TA / DA will be admissible for appearing in Test / Interview.
(11). The competent authority may, by general or special order, grant age relaxation as per policy. In case of person who has served in the government or public sector universities or any of the armed forces of Pakistan, the period of such service shall, for the purpose of upper age limit, be excluded from his/her age.
(12). The university reserves the right to withdraw any post or its all advertisement or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason, which will not be challengeable in any court of law.
(13). In case of any conflict, the university Act, Statutes, Rules and Regulations shall prevail.
(14). The university may increase or decrease the number of posts / positions as per its requirement and availability of budget.
(15). The closing date for submission of online application is October 12, 2026.
(16). No application shall be received by hand.
(17). The hard copies of on-line applications on the prescribed form, signed and complete in all respects, along with the necessary documents & 2-Pictures attached, must reach the office of the Registrar, Thal University Bhakkar, Bhakkar-30000 on October 15, 2026 before 04:00 PM.
