• Position: Dy. Manager Paint Shop
• Experience: At least 4 to 6 years of relevant field
• Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engg.
• Location: Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily paint shop production operations to meet manufacturing targets.
2. Ensure high-quality automotive paint finishing and minimize defects.
3. Supervise and lead paint shop staff, including engineers and supervisors.
4. Monitor and optimize paint processes and material usage.
5. Ensure proper functioning of paint booths, robotic systems, and ovens.
6. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
8. Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance departments.

Competencies & Skills:

1. Reduce rework rejection.
2. Meet the customer requirements on quality product.
3. Abilitifying the bottleneck areas, analyzing and correcting them.
4. Corrective actions for all Painting defects.
5. Have excelled in achieving production targets.
6. Good IT skills, Technical presentation, Pain expansion plans, and Layout preparation.

Desirable:

1. Certification in lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
2. Knowledge of ISO 9001, EMS 14001, and other industry-standard quality management systems.
3. Candidates with experience in operations of Painting Robots and related procedures will be given preference.

5. Effective data analysis for process monitoring, MIS development, and trend reporting.

Proven experience required in any one of the following domains: Wet Sanding Line, Paint Mixing Line, OR Robotic Paint Line

Job Responsibilities

• Manage performance and efficiency of assigned paint shop domains.
• Oversee process parameter monitoring and maintain quality standards.
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules for shop equipment.
• Report key performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Competencies & Skills

• In-depth, practical understanding of automotive paint application and defects.
• Proven operational experience with paint shop machinery (wet sanding tools, mixing units, robotic systems for operation).
• Skilled in process optimization and root cause analysis.
• Strong team supervision and technical data analysis for reporting.
• Proactive maintenance planning and equipment management.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification in Lean Manufacturing (e.g., Six Sigma).
• Knowledge of industry-standard quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.).
• Candidates with experience in the operations of Painting Robots will be preferred.
