VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives is an apex body which works as a think tank for the Government in providing technical and professional inputs for formulation and implementation of socioeconomic plans and policies. The Ministry is in search of Sector Specialist having experience and expertise in sector / field significantly vital for Planning Commission to discharge assigned jobs/tasks and assist the Planning Commission for provision of policy and knowledge inputs in various vital sectors. Applications are invited from motivated Pakistani suitable candidates against the following position to be filled on purely contract and merit basis under the project “Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of M/o PD&SI”
Sector Specialist
- Position: AGRICULTURE (PPS-10)
- Qualification / Education: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Soil Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Rural Development, or another closely related discipline from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in respective field. Experience in public sector will be preferred
