WE’RE HIRING EXECUTIVE PROCUREMENT (MECHANICAL)
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the procurement of mechanical equipment, industrial machinery, and engineering materials while ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and compliance with technical specifications to support manufacturing operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Procure all types of mechanical equipment, machinery, spare parts, and industrial materials.
2) Source and purchase iron, steel, metal products, pipes, valves, fittings, structural materials, and fabrication items.
3) Manage procurement for mechanical erection, installation, and commissioning projects.
4) Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
5) Handle import procurement, including supplier coordination, shipping, customs documentation, and logistics.
6) Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, perform technical and commercial evaluations, and issue Purchase Orders.
7) Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
8) Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
9) Control procurement costs while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
10) Import Procurement strong knowledge from A to Z GD PI incoterm .
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 2–4 years of experience in mechanical procurement or industrial purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
KSA : Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, import procedures, Incoterms, Oracle ERP, and international sourcing
