Tecno is looking to hire Head of Health, Safety & Environment (Group Role)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is preferred.
Minimum Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in a related field.
Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy, policies, and procedures.
•Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company HSE requirements.
•Lead safety initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture and promote employee awareness.
•Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
•Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
•Monitor HSE performance through KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
•Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
•Coordinate emergency preparedness plans, drills, and business continuity measures.
•Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety into daily operations and projects.
•Lead and mentor the team while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
