We are inviting applications for the position of Deputy Manager Purchase in our Supply Chain Department (Local Procurement).
🔹 Position Details:
- Department: Supply Chain – Local Procurement
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical procurement activities for engineering and plant requirements
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international vendors
- Review and analyze technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for accurate procurement
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Projects teams to understand material requirements
- Obtain competitive quotations, perform cost analysis, and conduct negotiations
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with procurement procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid production delays
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability
- Monitor procurement budgets and support cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure procurement compliance with company SOPs and audit requirements
- Identify new sourcing opportunities and alternative suppliers to reduce cost and lead time
🔹 Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Graduation/Masters with Major in Supply Chain
✔ 7–10 years of proven experience in local market procurement, particularly in consumables, technical equipment, and related materials
✔ Strong knowledge of vendor development, negotiation, and timely sourcing
✔ Age Limit: 30 – 40 years
🔹 Required Skills:
✔ Strong knowledge of technical materials, consumables, spare parts, and engineering equipment
✔ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
✔ Sound understanding of procurement processes, tendering, and vendor evaluation
✔ Experience in negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management
✔ Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics or equivalent)
