Trainee Librarian
- QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree
- EXPERIENCE: 0- 1 Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing and maintaining physical and digital archive materials (LTO tapes, hard drives, memory cards).
- Label, catalog, and maintain proper records of all archived content.
- Ingest live programs and recorded footage and update archive logs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Transmission, and Production teams for content sharing.
- Ensure safe storage and proper handling of archive media.
- Maintain accurate slugs and documentation of all footage.
- Assist in providing content for on-air transmission and internal requirements.
- Support emergency editing tasks when required.
Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Archives & Records Management or a related field.
- Basic understanding of digital archive systems and media storage technologies.
- Familiarity with LTO systems and broadcast storage workflow (preferred).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and systematic approach to record management.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (preferred)
