Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is looking for a bright and energetic resource for the role of Assistant Registrar for its Office of Registrar.
The role involves preparing semester schedules, processing merit scholarship
applications, maintaining departmental files, and addressing student issues. It also involves developing university policies, developing information documents, and collaborating with software development teams. The role also involves preparing the academic calendar, handling student queries, supervising the issuance of student letters and certificates, assisting in university convocations, and assisting with documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare semester schedules, Master Timetable, and University Academic Calendar.
-Maintain and update student records, departmental files, and daily student issue logs.
-Review student files periodically and follow up on missing documents.
-Process merit scholarship applications as per procedure.
-Handle student queries, cases, and issuance of letters/certificates (e.g., bona fide, admission, scholarship, Dean’s honor, etc.).
-Assist in policy development on registration, records, class schedules, IDs, and graduation requirements.
-Support the preparation of University Catalogue and class schedules.
-Use CMS modules (attendance, timetable, enrollment) and coordinate with IT for troubleshooting/customization.
-Assist in planning and conducting University Convocation and related activities.
-Coordinate with HEC, Accreditation and Statutory Bodies for documentation and visits.
-Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Registrar.
Requirements:
-Minimum 16 years of education with a minimum of 5 years of experience in academic-related operations of Higher Education Institution/s is required.
-Candidate must have good computer literacy, proficiency in Word and Excel and sound analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
A market-competitive salary with commensurate benefits and a designated-route commute service shall be offered. Prior experience as academic coordinators in a university will be preferred.
