SITUATION VACANT: Applications for the following post are invited from Pakistani Nationals on a prescribed form which can be downloaded from the University website i.e., www.su.edu.pk.

Position Available:

1. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)
   • No. of Posts: 01 (Contract)
   • Eligibility Criteria:
     • Ph.D. in any discipline from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
       (i) Eight years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization
       OR
     • MS or M.Phil. in any discipline or 18 years of education from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
       (ii) Ten years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization
       OR
     • MA or M.Sc. in any discipline or 16 years of education at least in 2nd division from a University or Degree Awarding Institute duly recognized by HEC; and
       (iii) Twelve years post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in HEC recognized Public or Private University or Degree Awarding Institute or Public Sector Organization
   • Tenure: Three (03) years, not extendable
   • Domicile: Punjab
   • Pay, Leave, Perks & Privileges: As admissible to a Government Servant in BS-20
   • Age: 40 to 50 years, with age relaxation as per Government Rules

General Information:

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/Interview.
2. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University of Sargodha website: www.su.edu.pk.
3. Candidates for the above position are required to fill the application form in MS Word and submit three copies of applications along with a complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials.
4. Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application form.
5. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificates issued by the HEC.
6. Applications must be accompanied by the original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form of Rs. 3000/- as processing fee (non-refundable) to be deposited under Head of Account Collection in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha. No other mode of payment i.e., Demand Draft, Postal Order, etc. will be accepted.
7. Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through the proper channel by the closing date; otherwise, their applications shall not be entertained.
8. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained; even posted before the closing date.
9. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
10. In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she will be disqualified and legal action will be taken under the Rules.
11. Closing date for submission of applications is 09.09.2024.
12. The University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post.

NOTE: As per terms & conditions of earlier advertisements for the post, the University reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post without assigning any reason. Candidates for the previous advertisements must apply afresh if interested. However, such applicants will not need to deposit the processing fee if already prescribed for the post.
