Job Title: Supervisor – E-commerce
Job Overview:
The Supervisor – E-commerce is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s e-commerce operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and effective fulfillment of online sales. This role involves managing inventory, logistics, customer service, and technology systems to optimize operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the entire E-commerce operations, including order processing, inventory management, logistics, and customer service.
· Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
· Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the e-commerce platform and related systems are functioning optimally.
· Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
· Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
· Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to align operational capabilities with promotional activities and sales forecasts.
· Establish and monitor performance metrics for all areas of e-commerce operations.
· Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
· Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
· Lead, motivate, and develop the operations team to achieve high performance and meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· Proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
· Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and digital technologies related to online retail.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external partners.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to e-commerce and shipping.
