We are looking to add a member to our MMC department to ensure the timely procurement of accessories as per customer requirements from local & overseas suppliers. A good fit for this role would be ideally someone who can play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Coordinate closely with the merchandiser to manage trim sheet and garment accessory requirements, ensuring timely availability and adherence to specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication channels with both local and import suppliers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless coordination in sourcing and procurement activities.
- Update reporting daily, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any potential bottlenecks.
- Timely preparation of purchase orders is essential, requiring proactive engagement with suppliers and internal teams.
- Utilize customized portals to send emails to vendors, suppliers, customers, and team members, facilitating clear and concise communication channels.
- Collaborate closely with the quality department to ensure rigorous inspection and checking of accessories, maintaining high standards of product integrity. – Maintain meticulous record-keeping practices and collaborate with production planning and control (PPC) teams on induction, cutting, and dispatch plans for efficient production scheduling.
- Manage coordination with the Impex department regarding import processes and TT payments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and smooth transactional processes. Effectively manage the dispatching of payments to vendors, maintaining financial transparency and accountability across all transactions
- Good multitasking, interpersonal, analytical and pressure-handling skills and has the ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership
- Has at least 4 to 5 years of relevant technology experience
Qualification Requirements: Master’s, Bachelors or equivalent qualification
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
